Del Mar Ukuleles are designed with sustainability in mind.  While rose wood and ebony are common materials used on ukuleles and guitars, these woods are on the CITES Endangered Species list.  For this reason, here at Del Mar Ukuleles, we have decided to use alternatives such as walnut in keeping with our sustainability beliefs.

What’s more, for every Del Mar Ukulele that is sold, a tree will be planted.  It’s the least we can do to give back to this beautiful planet that has given us so much.
